• The presence of the church provides an important focus to our various communities, particularly in rural areas, most notably in times of personal crises and landmarks. The year round daily opening of St Cadoc’s during summer months provides a valuable means of reaching out to all in our communities and beyond.
  • We form part of the ecumenical Churches Together group who meet quarterly to discuss, promote and put on joint events.
  • With the closure of the Caerleon university campus and problems of access outside school hours St Cadoc’s is increasingly used for community events including the monthly Tea and Cake afternoon when visitors to the town are welcomed
  • St Cadoc’s has a long standing relationship with the annual Caerleon Arts Festival for the staging of major events. These usually comprise the Annual Literary lecture by such notables as the Poet Laureate and well attended concerts
  • St Cadoc’s Church plays a part in the strong diocesan link with the Highveld in South Africa and is partnered with All Souls, Northmead, Benoni. St Cadoc’s has welcomed visitors, including clergy, from the diocese of the Highveld and reciprocal visits have been made to Northmead. Support is also given to the work in their outreach centre, Buyani House and in the Settlement School at Katlehong.
