RAVEN HOUSE TRUST – FINANCIAL UPDATEAt the end of May, I posted a message about the poor financial status of the trust. At the time, we were looking at insolvency in three months. Since then, we have received so much support and financial donations from the community, I’m pleased to say we are looking stronger. WE ARE NOT OUT OF THE WOODS YET. However, donations large and small have helped us to get our heads above water and the immediate danger has been adverted for now.I and the team at Raven House Trust want to thank each and everyone of your who have either donated or raised our issue with others. Yes, something as simple as sharing our message can have a positive result. One school posted in their newsletter that we were in need of support. A parent who read this has arranged for a donation from his employer. So please, do share and tell others. The community is also a network, which can search out support just by word of mouth.I am still looking to build some relations with local businesses for partnerships and sponsorships to enable us to secure some regular income. We also have a great opportunity to trade our way into a stronger position through sales in our shop. Please pass on the message, the shop is open for anyone to come and purchase the items that we have. We have a fantastic range of home furnishings and electrical appliances. We still provide furniture packages to those in need, on average ten per month. So, we need your pre-loved unwanted furniture items. We take most furniture items and plug in electrical appliances (have to be in working order). Please visit our website for detail – ravenhouse.orgWe still have our GOFUNDME account running to help us with fundraising, so please, if you can support us, every penny counts. Please continue to support us, please keep on sharing and passing our message on. Also, if you can let me know of any business initiatives to support charities, I would love you hear from you.Peter Hill and teamRaven House Trust ... See MoreSee Less
